Lower back pain, neck pain, herniated disc, frozen shoulder, knee and ankle pain. Treated with acupuncture and Chuna manual therapy.
Facial Palsy (Bell's Palsy)
Sudden one-sided facial weakness. The first 72 hours matter most. Acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and herbal medicine. Can be combined with Western medical treatment.
Herbal Medicine
Prescribed after examination, tailored to your condition — for fatigue, digestion, cold hands and feet.
Recovery Facilities
On the 2nd floor: infrared sauna, heat dome, air compression massage, and more. Available to patients receiving treatment.
The Birthplace of Donguibogam
Gangseo-gu — the district we practice in — is where Heo Jun, royal physician of the Joseon Dynasty, was born, wrote, and died. His masterwork Donguibogam (completed 1610) is a Korean National Treasure and was inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World Register. It remains one of the foundational texts of Korean medicine, and it was written here.
Heo Jun Museum
A public museum in Gayang-dong holding roughly a thousand artifacts — editions of Donguibogam, historic medical texts, herbs, and traditional instruments. Two subway stops from our clinic (Gayang Station, Line 9).
Heo Jun Theme Street
A 500-metre walk from the museum to Heogabawi, the cave said to be his birthplace and where he wrote. Signage is in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian, and the street trees were replanted with species used in herbal medicine.

- Most of our staff speak Korean. Please bring a Korean-speaking friend if possible, or use a translation app — we will do our best to communicate.
- If you were injured in a traffic accident in Korea, your treatment is generally covered by the at-fault driver's insurance. Bring your accident report number.
- If you are covered by Korean National Health Insurance, acupuncture and Chuna therapy are partially covered.
- Reception and treatment are all on the 1st floor — no stairs to climb.

Do I need Korean health insurance?
No. You can be treated without it, though costs differ. If you have Korean National Health Insurance, acupuncture and Chuna therapy are partially covered.
I had a car accident in Korea. What do I bring?
Bring your accident report number from the insurance company. Treatment is then covered with no out-of-pocket cost. If you do not have the number yet, come anyway and we will guide you.
Is anyone available who speaks English?
Our staff speak mainly Korean. Translation apps work well for most visits, and bringing a Korean-speaking friend helps. We take time to make sure you understand your treatment.
Are you open on Sunday?
Yes. We are open Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 9:00 to 14:00. We close for Lunar New Year, Chuseok, and summer vacation.
